How to tackle a slow work month (so you feel amazing by the end)

Anyone else noticed that workload seems to come in bursts? I couldn’t breathe for projects last month, and often found myself working on weekends and evenings after I put my toddler to bed (a big no-no in my business philosophy.)

And then this month…blissful quiet. As tempting as it was to indulge in the lull and binge on Netflix, I decided to hire myself as a client and look at some business self-care.

Anyone who knows me will tell you I’m not really one to do things by halves, so I took my plan to extremes and huddled up with a team of expert women running their own businesses.

First I hired dynamo business coach Emma McQueen , then packaged up my services, rewrote my own website copy from scratch, completely rebuilt my website with the help of the lovely Webby Web, and invested in my own brand photography with The Who

With the help of these superstars, I pulled together a brand-new online business presence in one month that nails who I am, what I do, and why my clients choose to work with me.

All the things I recommend to my clients every week but hadn’t done for myself.

This has been on my action list for ages, but like the proverbial cobbler and his shoeless kids, it is so easy to ignore your own brand when your clients are keeping you so busy.

Is a communications refresh still sitting at the bottom of your to-do list?

I promise you it feels SO good to have it done!

If you’re ready to cross that sucker off your list and feel awesome about your content and online presence, just reach out.
